I can’t wait to explore who you are with you.

Let’s go on this journey together.

Soon after launching two children into college, I was devastated by the abrupt ending of my marriage. I experienced all of the sadness, hurt, confusion, anger and depression that you can imagine. I had to face hard truths and rediscover what was safe for me. In that recovery time period, I had incredibly wise and supportive friends, family and counselors who encouraged me to return to school to pursue a Master’s degree.

That was many years ago, and I am forever grateful for the wisdom I learned from that experience, and that I can pass it onto you. I truly believe that we can become stronger when we choose to embrace our sorrows, truths, joys and fears head on.

Clients say: “If I can trust and share my truth (fears, hopes, hurts) in a safe space, my burdens are lessened and I can learn, adapt and grow.”

Therapy may be something you've considered doing for awhile. Maybe it feels intimidating. Maybe you're looking forward to it. We can walk through it together. I want to hear your concerns. I want to be collaborative in your journey. I have been in your shoes, and the first step is reaching out. Let me help.

A few of my guiding principles

You are worthy of love and belonging.

~Brene’ Brown

When I am sick and tired of being sick and tired, I can move towards growth.

Change is possible.

You have insight and knowledge about all of the parts of you.

You are the expert on you. I want to be your collaborator.

When you replace judgment with curiosity, everything changes
